A cozy retreat after hiking
The Bank House Bed & Breakfast was a delightful escape after a long day of hiking. Jayne greeted us warmly upon arrival, making us feel right at home. The room was spotless and had a fantastic power shower that was refreshing after our trek. Breakfast was a highlight, with Stephen catering to our tastes and including fresh eggs from their own chickens—it felt very special!
The only downside was the weather, which is always a bit unpredictable in Scotland. I wish I could have enjoyed the scenic views during sunnier conditions.

Prime spot with a lovely river view! Super cozy and got great recommendations for local hikes. The free parking was a lifesaver after a day out and about.
Could use some sunshine, no surprise there! But I didn’t pack my ‘Scottish weather’ umbrella, so that’s on me really.

Had a blast with friends on our trip! We loved the fast boat wildlife tour, soaking in the sights of Ben Nevis and Glencoe. The local seafood was a real treat during dinner too. Jayne and Stephen’s warm welcome made it feel like home, and we appreciated the great hiking recommendations.
One odd thing was that the luggage space in the compact double room was a bit limited, making it tricky to store our gear after a long day out. Just something to keep in mind if you're traveling with a group.
